Brushed Copper Sunflower Screen Feeder
I like this product because it allows birds of various sizes to feed comfortably. Plus, I think the brushed copper look is pretty.

I love mesh feeders! I especially love this brushed copper feeder because it holds so much seed. The roof protects the seed from rain and snow and the tray allows for larger birds like cardinals and rose-breasted grosbeaks to perch and feed. I love to digiscope photos at this feeder of cardinals and finches perched on the tray, while nuthatches, chickadees, and woodpeckers easily cling to the mesh to get a seed out.

The hard mesh makes it difficult for squirrels and raccoons to eat out of the feeder and almost impossible for them to damage. The copper coloration weathers well and the feeder comes apart for easy cleaning. Whether setting up a feeding station for myself or friends, hardware cloth mesh feeders are one of my first purches.

You can offer a variety of seeds in here. I often put in black-oil sunflower seeds, peanuts out of the shell, and safflower in our mesh feeder.

We've taken some video with our WingScapes Camera. Here's a red-bellied woodpecker on the Copper Mesh Feeder and here are some nuthatches coming to the feeders.

Here's a link to some of my blog entries with photos of birds visiting our mesh feeders.
