If you place this pole system properly in your yard, you can safely hang 4 to 8 bird feeders off it without every worrying about raccoons and squirrels raiding your bird feeders. This is a sturdy system that will last years in your yard. The key for it to work is mounting it properly. I have a demonstration video here on YouTube.

The secret to the success of this system is that squirrels cannot jump more than five verticall and ten feet horizontally (so if you place the feeders ten feet from trees, fences, furniture, deck rails, small children, etc) the baffle on the pole will keep squirrels from being able to climb or jump to the feeders overhead. Since the baffle is so long, if it's place five feet high, raccoons will not be able to climb over it either! This will save you tons of money in bird seed and damaged feeders.

The pole is strong and can hold both large and small feeders. The cross arms have little groves halfway out so you can hang 2 feeders on each arm. The ground anchor is solid and balances the system well once it's in. When I ran a wild bird specialty store for eight years in Minnesota, this was one of our most popular systems. It was an investment, but every customer who had it, loved it--we love it.

I'm on the short side, so hanging a smaller feeder can be a challenge, but if you use an EZ lift hanger (also available in my shop), you'll have no problems filling your feeders.
